Munich was founded in 1939 near Barcelona and originally specialized in making technical football boots. In the 1970s, five-a-side indoor football suddenly became hugely popular in Spain, and nearly all players of the game wore a pair of Munich shoes as their favorites.

With the rise of specialized sports brands in the market, Munich re-released several of their top models from the 70s with minimal restyling. These designs have since performed exceptionally well in today’s fashion scene.
